Far Too High

Far too high for me to reach
No matter how hard I try
Wait for years and years to be
What I think I want for me

On the bow of this great sailing ship I call to you
I traveled far from home I don't expect to make it
Back to you again
The wind and sails conspire to take me further towards
A distant shore
I don't know where I'm headed
And all the lands I'm coming from disintgrated long ago

Now I've made it through the wake of storms between to blues
I speak into the wind and I hope
My voice might somehow cross the depths to you
The moon pulls hard at waves and lights the clouds afloat
in darkened skies
The tide is on its way in
The anchor's up and all the maps disintigrated long ago
